Mr. Michael Afremov, President & CEO

Mr. Afremov was a co-founder and partner of AGA Medical, a manufacturing and marketing company specializing in minimally invasive cardiology devices. Mr. Afremov held engineering positions with companies such as Biomedicus (Medtronic), Flexmedics Corporation, Novell Biomedical and Microvena Corporation.

Mr. Steve Nuss, Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Nuss has held senior level sales, marketing and business development management positions with medical device companies such as 3M Corporation, Flexmedics Corporation and Navarre Biomedical, Ltd. (sold to C.R. Bard).

Mr. Brian Packard, Chief Technical Officer 

Mr. Packard is President and CEO of Minnesota MedTec, Inc. and MX Medical, a medical device O.E.M. manufacturer specializing in custom extrusions and medical device assembly. Mr. Packard held various engineering positions with companies such as Scimed (BSC), Schneider (BSC) and was a co-founder of Novell Biomedical.

Mr. Richard Globensky 

Mr. Globensky is an engineer specializing in tooling, machine and manufacturing automation equipment. Mr. Globensky is an independent manufacturing consultant and holds Board of Director positions with a number of medical device companies.

Minnesota Medical Development, Inc. (MMDI) was established in 2001 and is based in Plymouth, MN. MMDI’s focused objective is to identify, develop, manufacture and market unique medical devices that provide significant clinical benefits and market opportunities. MMDI will also explore potential strategic alliances for licensing, product distribution or acquisition.
